Ayurnadanam
Ayurnadanam' - an ayurveda inspired motivational program that features dancers who are back on the stage after a hiatus that was a result of various health disorders like art injuries, knee pain, back pain, shoulder pain, fibromyalgia, etc. that resulted in an inability to perform on stage. It is an attempt to spread the message that 'An illness is not the end'.
The first and second editions of Ayurnadanam took place in 2021 and 2022 respectively and hosted the 'Second Arangettam' for over 50 dancers among the numerous who are now performing elsewhere as well.
All the participants who have taken part in the previous editions of ‘Ayurnadanam’ are serious disciples of the art form who held stage performances alongside managing their professions. All of them had sought the advice of ortho-neuro specialists before approaching Sree Swami Vaidhya Gurukulam for treatment. All of them achieved speedy recovery after following the prescribed treatment regimen. All treatment procedures are devised by our doctors that includes specialists in both ayurvedic and modern medical practices.
Propaganda is what Ayurnadanam is not. It is not aimed at promoting any form of hate against modern medicine or surgery. It is not intended to be any form of sarcastic or parodic representation of any artistic form, medical condition, or medical practice. It is furthest from a hate campaign, and does not, in any form, promote any form of hate, including but not limited to physical appearance or condition.
The dancers who have and will perform in the future in Ayurnadanam are the living examples that human will - with a little help and guidance, can achieve what might seem impossible at first glance.
